How to Get Rid of Wrinkles

DEAR SANDY,
There is so much advertising about how to get rid of wrinkles, I find it hard to know what to believe. Can you give me the truth about what ingredients really work?
SKEPTICAL
DEAR SKEPTICAL,
You’re right about that! It is so confusing and so many products actually do more damage to your skin than help it. Causing wrinkles is not something you might have bargained for when you picked up your latest and greatest at the department store or drug store.

Your question should really be answered in two parts. First, you will want to know what to look for that will damage your skin. The second part is to look for ingredients that actually do combat wrinkles.

Only looking for the ingredients that work will not be enough. Knowing the following will help your skin and save you money.

If your product has any of these ingredients – throw them out or DON'T buy them. They cause wrinkles, and may cause cancer, reproductive problems or be a neurotoxin: Parabens and anything with the word paraben in it, Acrylamide, Propolylene Glycol, Isopropyl Alcohol, Toulene, Butylated, and anything ending in Siloxane.

What you want to look for and DO buy are natural ingredients. They won’t harm your skin and do work to eliminate wrinkles: Retinol, Vitamin E, CoQ10, Peptides, Copper Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA), Squalene, Niacinamide, Tea Extracts, Algae Extracts, Baicalin, and Argireline (acetyl hexapeptide-3).

You don’t have to find a product with all of these ingredients but try to get one with some of them. One product that I like a lot and is doctor-formulated is called Revive. It also has ingredients to prevent wrinkles as well as getting rid of them. Dr. Sears has a money-back guarantee so you can’t go wrong.
Here’s to growing younger and for a more beautiful you!
